Admission Requirements
Embarking on your journey with Summit Salon Academy is your first step towards a promising career in the beauty industry. Here’s what you need to get started:
- Application Submission: Fill out and submit your enrollment application to take the first step.
- Registration Fee: Pay the initial registration fee to secure your spot.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency: We require documentation confirming your citizenship or residency status.
- Government-Issued Photo ID: A copy of an ID for identity verification.
- Educational Proof: Submit one of the following to verify your educational background:
- A U.S. high school diploma or transcript showing your graduation date.
- A GED certificate or its recognized equivalent.
- A home-schooling certificate or transcript, compliant with your State’s guidelines.
- A college diploma or official college transcripts.
- For documents from non-U.S. institutions, further verification or a certified translation may be needed.
- Admissions Interview and Tour: Meet with our admissions director for a personal interview and enjoy a tour of our academy.
- Enrollment Agreement: Finalize your intent to enroll by completing and signing the Enrollment Agreement.
Admission Process
From the moment you step into our academy for a tour, we're here to guide you through every step of the admission process. During your visit, you'll have a personal interview with our admissions director to explore our programs and the support services available to you. You'll receive our latest Academy catalog and student handbook, which include essential information such as student conduct codes, consumer information, and campus safety reports.
After your campus visit and once we've reviewed all required documents to confirm your eligibility, we'll inform you of your admission status. Once accepted, you’ll be provided with all the details you need to prepare for the new student orientation, including your class start and projected graduation dates.
